Unlike S2 T-813 9.7 (Tab S2 8.0 SM-T-713), Galaxy Tab S3 9.7 SM-T820/825 was unfortunately never officially supported by the Lineage team, even though it is a professional tablet. So it remained dependent on the unofficial support of individuals until today. So I tested five ROMs on the S3 (gts3lwifi), including: Project Treble GSI

any plans to keep teh project going with monthly security updates or maybe think about a lineage 17.1 build to android 10 for the devices.just wondering. i have flashed and kept alot of devices alive through either official or unofficial builds of cm 12-14, to lineage 14.1 to 16.0 from all the way from samsung galaxy s2 to all the way up to nexus 6p and pixel XL.

LineageOS 20.0 64-bit for Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 (2018) WiFi Your warranty is now void. I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research

Here's what happened. 1st link : The tablet got stuck in a loop and kept booting to cwm-recovery. 2nd link : the rom won't boot, it's an unfinished abandoned port. 3rd link : that one worked, but it's still in Android 4.2.2 so in terms of apps, you're still limited a lot. I have now loaded the custom ROM, and it works!!!!! As a complete noob I had to puzzle some things out, but I got there in the end. For other noobs. the process was: 1. Download the ROM, TWRP-3.4.0-0, ODIN 2. Copy ROM and GAPPS onto an SD card. 3. Run ODIN on your PC, load TWRP, follow instructions to boot into TWRP 4.
So, I don't know about the backup, bc the apps wont run on LineageOS. Just save your data and flash it to a custom rom. The tablet is years out of date, therefore no updates for the tab3. The only option is to flash a custom ROM. I just flashed my 5210 (tab3 10.1 WiFi Santos) with this version of LineageOS (latest available)
